I went to the Grays inspection at Cheltnam today and checked out the offerings.
I seriously want one of the 6x6's most of them were in as new condition. Obviously only recently overhauled. Unfortunately I'm in the market for one, just after a GS for knocking about the farm.
Most of the GS's looked ok. What I did notice on a couple was 4th gear was quite hard to select (lots 20 & 15), even with the engine running. Curious as to why this might be? Wrong grade of oil? Mis-adjustment? or just plain stuffed?
Does anyone have any thoughts?
Cheers.
Paul.

Wasn't aware you could drive them,,,,
Sitting stationary can't possibly be a true assesement.

No, you can't drive them. Was allowed to start the engine though, tried giving it a rev in neutral with the clutch out, didn't seem to make much difference.
Doesn't matter really, I'm not bidding on either of those. Just curious :D
