The drivers front window on my Puma 130 just carked it.
Went to put it down it and it just fell down inside the door. Motor seems to be working, however window won't come up The window sounds if it has come loose, as when you close the door it really rattles. Bit worried about slamming the door in case I break the glass.
The annoying thing is that the vehicle has done considerably less mileage than the warranty distance (100 000 km), however it has exceeded the 3 years period.
Has any body had the same problem?

That's funny, my 95 did the same last nig, I had to drive home in the middle of the night in the rain. Land rover love!
Pulled it apart today and there are two plastic mounts stuck on the bottom of the window, they both have a short bolt which attaches the window to the raising/lowering mechanism. The forward bolt had pulled its anchor ut out of the plastic. Quick fix to add a washer and some loctite and just through bolt it.
That was my experience, there are a few other bits in ere that can let go. Do a search on removing the door card so you don't break it, unbolt the face plate it will probably all become apparent - watch for bits falling out the bottom!
Ps: they hadn't invented electric windows in 95, but won't be that different I would have thought

My 2010 110 did it on the drivers window when I stopped to get takeaway one evening. From memory it had only done about 28000km.
Just had to pull the door apart (after eating of course) and get the glass back into bit at the bottom of it as best as possible. I did mange to wreck some of the clips and the foam bit that is glued inside the door.
Dealer just fixed it all properly under warranty when it went for the next service.
It is now just clicked over 50000 and it hasn't reoccurred on any window yet.

Trying to get the door trim off the drivers door.Nearly got it, however the only thing holding it on is the Sill Button Guide (bit around the knob that goes up and down when locking/unlocking the door. I can't seem to be able to get it off. I'm afraid of applying too much force and breaking something.
How did you get it off on your vehicle?

Hi Sketty,
From Memory it just popped out with a little bit of force (I am known to break things from using too much and I did break a couple of the hidden clips ). See the attached file from the workshop manual.
