I have taken my clutch pedal and tower apart (with the help of a big hammer and a drift) and have cleaned everything up. Looks all nice and lovely now. Thing is, I have discovered that the bush has a threaded hole down the centre and a hole through the middle to lubricate the brass bush the pedal actually pivots on. (never knew about that)

Question is -: What is it lubed with - oil or grease? which will lead to what goes in the end - bolt or grease nipple? It has neither at present

Most I've seen have a bolt fitted, you could remove this and add oil when servicing.
Alternatively you could fit a grease nipple.
