I have a fairly standard gas install on a disco 1 with two tanks under the back. It seems when I fill up on lpg only one tank will fill up as I can only get about 35 litres in before the pump stops. The tanks are in date and inspected 2 years ago. Any ideas of what might be wrong?

Two possibilities.
1. The second tank is already full, either the outlet tap has been shut by mistake or the wiring to the solenoid valve is faulty and you are running out on one side only. Loose or dirty earth/connecting terminals are commonly found on dodgy gas installs.
2. The second tank is empty and the fill limiter valve is stuck closed. A corrugated dirt road may get it loose.
In any case you should see if using a good torch you can see the tank level gauges and determine if the tank/s are empty or full.

Ok, took a look at both gauges, looks like one is were it should be based on the last fill, the other is on dead empty. Every time I fill I only get 35 litres in before it stops. Looks like option 2 i.e. fuel limiter valve stick close. This is the valve on the float? If so I will have to pull it out see if I can unstick it or otherwise replace.
Thanks Roger
