Thanks for the general invitation sir, !
I would like to attend but other matters may intervene :(
You've got an interesting photo there ! My compliments to the model :) (is her name Alice the Charmer ?), and of course, my compiments about the other model (Allis Chalmers)
Reminds me of the old tractor collector "wanted to meet possible partner" joke - where he writes "please send photo of tractor".

Well you are most welcome, 87 County. The Coolatai Vintage Tractor page did mention the name of the young lass but it went in one ear and out the other. Nice pick up....both Alices are charming. Maybe she'll be down the Newie tonight - she is from the district.
Yes, the old mech jokes......there is a tractor in my picture? :p
Many of us will be leaving Friday morning....if you need any updates let me know. :)

I'm with you, Gus. As a Allora Tractor Pull one timer, I have some very limited experience, but the New England ladies have me fascinated.....so much to learn here regarding our own machines, I feel....that must be a banjo fitting she's holding, right Arthur? ;)

An industrious model, I was thinking - with an apt warning. And who wouldn't want a ride on this lovely example?

I thought this thread would be about some boring Landraver crap but I see now it's about milk cans.
Ahhh that brings back memories of early morning milking on the farm. Preferred the taller milk cans myself. Held more, so you got more time to get on with the udder washing and hosing **** away before trotting off to the cool room to check on the filling levels.
Don't remember much about any milk maids but there were some passable cows among the herd.

THE nice twist of fate that sees university and high school holidays coincide with the Wimmera harvest has proved a god-send around Donald, where a hard-working crew of girls have been a crucial part of their respective family harvests.

You are all doing well. Thanks.
What a wonderfull line up of old Tractors.
Reminds me of when I was 10 yrs old and allowed to drive the Massey Harris pulling the harrows around the paddock.
How do I remember I was 10?
It was the year after the Royal Visit when we went to town to see HRH:D

Just think, if they are still alive today they would be over a hundred years old, so I think I can safely say that makes them 'Old Girls' ------ the tractor I'm talking about!
