I love the LR cargo liner that came with my MY13 D4. It scratches the crap out of the plastic rear door pillars and has now made the tie-down points completely unusable.

Well done Team LR .

I bought an "el-cheapo" generic one from Clark Rubber (about $50 from memory) and trimmed out the bits for the tie downs and it all works well :)
cheers

I bought one off E-Bay as well. Cost $110.00 and is a soft, rubbery material that bends easily. It has an approximately 5cm "lip" around the perimeter. It still fits in with a cargo barrier installed - that edge simply bent back a bit. I was going to cut it to fit but didn't bother as it sat right everywhere else and doesn't really look as though it's been forced in. Happy with the seller too. The first one was replaced as it had been damaged in transit at no cost to me.

I think Celtoid is referring to the Cargo Liner; as in plastic tub type and not the cargo mat. At least, I hope so cause I'm getting the OEM rubber mat thrown in and won't be happy if it scratches panels. When I picked up my new Commodore wagon in '10 they put the Paint protection stuff in a neat bag that Velcro stuck to the side panel in the back. Got home and pulled it off and furred up the carpet forever. Brilliant idea.... not!

Yup, it's the hard'ish plastic tub.

Obviously I can trim the edges to hopefully prevent scratching and cut holes for the cargo tie-down points .... but really? That's BS isn't it? What was nat_89 quoted .... $540 .... ludicrous!

I'll take a photo in the morning.

Cheers,

Kev.

Thanks dudette - just ordered one for myself. Wasn't real happy at the $13.50 GST thrown on at checkout.... I believe I read somewhere that GST must by law be included in the advertised price where this seller puts it on at the last gasp before payment..

Ah well it looks as if it's quality and compared to an OEM mat it's a good price and shipping is reasonable as well. All good.

Illegal to advertise ex GST quoted price must include GST. Quoted price including $x GST is ok.

Not quite correct. ATO does allow it to be quoted this way for online retailers if they have international sales, provided though that it clearly states that the amount quoted does not included gst near to the price for Australian purchasers.

I thought the same but came across this from a client that sells this way. He had writings from the ATO showing this was the case.

All other retailers price must include gst, but so many retailers often advertise illegally.

I would question the legality of this though:

"Land Rover logo embroidered into the mat."
says something about their ethics if they don't have a licence, what I expect from a Chinese supplier.

The way the pricing is sown is misleading and/or deceptive though, I would think. ACCC may have different opinion to ATO?
