Microphone element

I've been trawling the internet trying to figure this out without success, so back as always to the source of all knowledge, AULRO. Further to my questioning about my HF radio, I've been trying to source a replacement microphone element for the Jenal SC-2 mic. Advice in other posts was to get one from Jaycar, however Jaycar do not stock an element that looks anything like this one. The element in the Jenal mic is a cylinder 19mm in diameter and 19mm long. All the elements that jaycar stock, and all the elements that I've been able to find in online catalogues from other suppliers, are miniature elements ranging from around 4mm to 10mm or thereabouts.
Can anyone point me to a source where I might be able to get the correct element, or perhaps advise whether a different size element would work if I make adaptations with the mounting.
My 2 Codan mikes work fine with voice transmission, the Jenal works fine with selcall tones but no voice output. Changing the element seems a simple and inexpensive enough next step in troubleshooting, but finding an element has brought me to a stop.

With a MIC element of that size, I'm thinking 'dynamic' and not 'electret'. Dynamic microphones are - simplistically - speakers, used in reverse.... they internally generate a tiny alternating current when sound moves the diaphragm.
Electrets usually have a much smaller diaphragm which alters the flow of an externally supplied current. (They usually have a transistor amplifier built into the tiny case.) - Again, a simplifiction.

Well how about that, they have stock of spare elements for the SC-2. Dunno why I didn't think of that!
I spoke with Alan of Jenal Communications about this mike a couple of weeks ago, he was incredibly helpful in two phone conversations, pretty much talked me through wiring the mike into the radio and also programming the mike. I was reluctant to call him again cos I had taken up so much of his time without even being an actual customer. Having replacement elements listed on his spares page gives me an excuse to phone him again and pick his brains!
