Unloaded my LR90 rattled my bones and threatened my teeth. I had hoped the 2" terriblyfirma suspension kit (medium) would settle down a bit but after more than a year, and a good few rounds of pounding, they are still rock hard!

I just put on a pair of NRC4304 range rover springs on the rear and went for a trip round the block, which turned into a 1 hour fun run... much better! It still bucks around like a lifted SWB will do, but the violence has gone.

I didnt really notice before but it turns out it was riding around 1" higher at the back than the front when empty.

Lift Measurements (floor to wheel arch)

Terrafirma 2" medium kit:
FL: 93cm FR: 92cm
RL: 96cm RR: 95cm

Terra Medium Front with NRC4304 on rear
FL: 93cm FR: 92cm
RL: 92.5cm RR: 91cm

A couple of 1cm shims on the right hand springs and she will be sitting pretty.

Best of all, the prop vibrations I consistently had at around 80kph have gone! Still need to take it up to highway speeds, but looking good. Might not need that Tom Woods shaft after all.

Loving it. :D

Ps. Do softer springs help absorb engine vibrations? At idle things seem to be rattling less in the cabin. Could be a happy placebo, or maybe the old set up beat me up so much that it left me rattling at idle
