Hello, Ibought a winch today at the 4x4 show in Brisbane, a VRS 9500 with synthetic rope, very pleased. But I forgot to ask a question about the gear box housing, does anyone know if you can turn the gear box housing to get the clutch release handle in a better position? Thanks ted.

I'd be interested in knowing this too, mine is up for a service so while it's out it would be handy to remember to rotate it around. That said, it's not really a problem reaching it where it is on my bar.

The VRS is a good unit; never let me down.

For anyone who wants to know, yes you can rotate the gear housing, thanks to the guys at opposite lock for finding this out for me, and it doesn't affect your warranty! Yes Dervish I could just leave it, but if I can get it right I'd like to have it right. Thanks all
