Sorry Rich, I should have been more specific.
Having only been here for a week .......
I'm in Hurstville at the moment but I was thinking that it'll only take 1/2 an hour to get across town.

That was yesterday's error, 22 Km's & it took 65 minutes.

I was thinking I'd try to get in early & beat the rush hour traffic, I may be better to try for Mid-day

Big Wheel tyres at Girraween but its a fair way from Hurstville but Phil is brilliant and drives the product so gives a ****.

As an example, after (during) the previous repairs after getting t-boned mine was aligned 4 times as stuff got replaced/upgraded. All for $55-.

Go to Blairs Tyres at the corner of Forest Rd and Stoney Creek Rd Peakhurst, 5 minutes from Hurstville, we get our D4 done there.

Midday not much better, your best bet is to source locally, plenty of places around and in the Hurstville/Sutherland area, Girraween would be the last place to go anytime of day.

Yep welcome to the busiest city in Australia, with the worst roads in Australia:twisted:

Richard, there are a few good places for wheel allignments close to Hurstville, Brabond Brakes in Forest Rd Penshurst, Jax Tyres in Sutherland, Tyre Plus in Engadine, Don Cornell, Stoney Creek Rd Bexly, any one of these do a good job, try all of them over time, stick with the one that does the best job, we have stuck with Blairs, very conveinant for us and do a great job, I work five minutes from them in Peakhurst, the missus is five minutes away in Hurstville;)

I have had mine done twice by Pacific Motors, on the Pacific Highway at Pymble.

I have had many friends who are very satisfied customers of theirs, and I checked with them first that they can do all the electronic stuff prior to alignment etc, and have no reason to disbelieve them when they said they had done it.

Side Story:
When they put on my new Cooper tyres and needed to balance them, they ended up taking a very long time because it was so out of whack when they first put the rubber on that they decided to remove the tyres, balance the tyres to the rims first, then do the final balancing. And yet they only charged the fixed price - ie not for all the extra time taken. Fantastic!
