Hi
I'm new on this forum, but I think it is the only place where I can ask some questions.
My husband and I thinking about buying Range Rover 2007, 103.000km, deasel.
I really like the comfort and the look of the car, and my husband like idea taking for bush driving (not 4wd)
I would very appreciate all your advice, as we are still not sure if this is a good, liable car. Before spending all these money is always good to ask :)
Any advice on this model will be very appreciate

Thank to you all.

Hi Suzana & welcome.

If its a RR Sport your looking you should post over in the D3 / D4 / RRS section. The RRS is different to the L322 & we would be a bit biased here :D. All the groups are very helpful & full of knowledge. If you like it ,buy it. You wont be sorry I'm sure. Me I prefer the elegance & grandeur of the L322

Hi Gary,

Thank you
I checked and it is a model L320.
What is a difference between two models?

We have a RRS 2006. The only problem its had is the air suspension compressor failed. This was covered, at the time, by Allianz warranty.

Would pay to get an independent to give it a thorough inspection, including hooking up diagnostics to check any faults

Ideal choice for what you describe. I have Defenders for serious offroad work

Check the Discovery3 4 forum that includes the RRS for heaps of good info

Hi Suzie

The L322 is the full size Range Rover . The L320 ( RRS) is based on Discovery 3 / 4 chassis. Shares many components with the D3 / D4 but with different body work. The L322 & L320 have different engine & transmissions.

Hi Suzie, welcome to the forum.:)

I have merged the 2 threads you have running about the 07 RRS. I have placed them here in the Range Rover section and moved out the thread in the L322 section.

The RRS is a great car, and will not only do bush driving, but is also a very capable off roader, so it will have no dramas in doing what you are wanting it too.

Like any second hand vehicle, look over it carefully for things like a full service history and I would check to see if the transmission has been serviced in its life. With those KM on it, I would get that done straight away if it hasn't been or you could risk a transmission failure some years down the track. Most manufactures now claim transmissions are 'sealed for life' - which is fine if you only want to get the car through its warranty period, but not so good if you want to keep it long term. Although this model isn't know for transmission issues, I'd still get it done sooner rather than later.

Hope you find it suits your needs - if you buy it, make sure you pop back and let us know and of course - post a few pics of your pride and joy.:)

Cheers - Gav

exactly - just as a heads up, the first transmission service on a L32 / D3 is expensive as it requires the pan to be replaced to allow for subsequent servicing.
