Hi
I live in regional qld, and my D4 is coming up for another service (~120k). It's out of the manufacturer's warranty, but it is still covered under an extended warranty (direct from Allianz, not through L/R).
I also want to get the transmission oil changed, and the replacement ZF steel sump installed.
Can anyone recommend dealers or Landrover/Disco4 specialists in the Brisbane area to do this work?
I don't mind if there are 2 places to do this work - maybe a transmission specialist is the better person to do that work?
If you can share any of your good experiences, it'll be greatly appreciated (as well as which ones to avoid :o)!
Thanks
Rob

Try British Off Road at Forest Glen 07 54451094. I have heard they are really on the ball with Disco repairs & servicing.

I'll second MR automotive at Redcliffe. They know exactly what they are doing & are always a good price. Have been using them for 21 years & never had a problem.
Cheers,

I use knights and they did my transmission with new pan about two weeks ago. Very happy with their work. I can't give an exact price as I had a fair bit of other work done as well.

I had mine done by Rovercare 3209-1970 on the sth side of Brisbane just off the Pacific motorway in Monte St Slacks Creek. I get all my D3 and previously D2, service and repairs done there.

MR does a good job, at a reasonable price, and if you supply some of your own parts they fit/use them. I have my own engine and tranny oils and and filters etc which they use in my services.

I used Rovercare (Paul Beauchamp) extensively with my D1. He was FANTASTIC in every sense (service, price, help over the phone, etc etc).
Highly recommend him for D1/2 work...
Not sure if he does D3/4 work though, or warranty work???

I got Paul Beauchump to do some suspension work for me, and when I questioned him about the bill he started swearing and threatening to the point my wife was going to ring the police. This clown is one of the rudest thieves I've ever met, and there is NO way in good conscience I could send anyone to him!
