Heading to moreton Island in the morning so thought I would run the rig over the weigh bridge........I'm pretty nervous about getting the trailer across to the eastern beach.
Just me in the car, the only things to pack is three kids and cloths so maybe another 200kg
4.06 car and trailer
2.92 car + tow ball weight
1.14 trailer..........apparently you needs brakes over 750kg
2.80 car, expected to be 3.0-3.1 tomorrow (GVM is 3.2)
I'm a little surprised as I thought the car and trailer would have been heavier

Lol.....that's because everybody jumps down your throat as soon as you mention trailers and weights
I registered the trailer before I build it thinking it would only weigh in around 700/800 kg....apparently you need brakes over 750kg
I know have electric over hydraulic brakes fitted....just need to sort the rego out
