I use a combination of memory map and PDF maps. Neither is perfect, but together they cover off enough to keep me happy.

Thanks guys I will look into both of them. Most of my trips are in Victoria so no need for touring maps

I am using mud maps 2. Works well for me. Comes with a bunch of maps standard. And so it should for $100. But have also loaded rooftop maps for most of Victoria.

Hey turps was wondering if you head up to the high country at all? If so how are the maps for that? That is where I spend some time. Cheers.

I used 'Open Maps' for a trip the other day and was impressed.
Its an open source maps so other users upload their tracks and they appear on that. There's a separate app to upload your own tracks to Open Maps as well but haven't used it yet.

I use memory map on the Ipad with AusTopo on the Ipad. I am toying with buying HEMA maps for MM also.
Is there an Open Maps App? How does open map work on the Ipad?
Cheers

TwoNav for me, works great.
TwoNav (http://en.compegps.com/products/software/twonav/)
It does take a while to get used to the setup navigation.
