Okay so I just fitted 2 new air bags and a new compressor to my d2. Now when I press the off-road height button nothing happens. Has anyone experienced this before? Any feedback would be great thanks.

Do you get the 'bong' and the flashing light?

No gilloverland, I get nothing at all.

Is the car levelling at all?
Just wondering if the sensor arms were bumped, or have failed.
I take it the new compressor is running, and will inflate the bags to standard road height...

Yes basil everything seems to be working perfectly. Nice and level. The only thing that doesn't work is height up button.

Is there a separate fuse for off-road height mode?

Extended height won't work if you have a door open. Are you testing it in the driveway leaning through the open door? ( I know I have done this)

Yep all doors are closed, nothing.

This might sound stupid but does your diff lock have to be engaged for it to work? I can't remember if it had to be engaged or not.

Nope. Will work without the diff being locked.
Got me beat... :(

Check continuity of wiring from the ECU, through the switch, to earth.

Seems I have a bigger problem than I thought. Just noticed that when I turn my window wipers on the power to the car stereo is lost for a second.

What lewy said :) The earth bus at the battery box is a good place to start. If at any time you turn on something and some item seemingly unrelated dims, stops, lights up or acts strange it generally means electrics are having a hard time doing the circuit and are looking for the quickest route home!
BTW, Was it working at all before you replaced the pump?
Cheers Scott

Are the pipes going into the pump the correct way around,Putting these in wrong can do funny things.

Thanks for the replies guys. Yes It was working so I guess it's something I've done. The earth thing sounds like a good place to start.
