Compatible parts for a 1994 Defender

As some of you may have seen in my previous post, I now need a new front diff. Figure I should probably replace the centre as well, and whilst I am at it may as well look at replacing the stubs and axles, rotors etc.

My question is, seeing as I want to try and use secondhand parts where I can to keep costs down, what other Landrover models will have interchangeable parts that will suit mine? I have a 1994 Defender 110, 300 tdi 2.5L 5 speed manual. Can I use the driveline parts from a 1995 Discovery 300 tdi? A 1997? What would be the cut off years for something like this.

Reason I ask is that I am thinking of buying a whole vehicle and using it as a donor for my car. Still don't have the cash yet, and have no particular vehicle in mind, but need to know what my options are.

Any advice or suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

The defender should have vented discs and the disco will have solids, other than that its all much the same, same front tail shaft for both, i think 97 on didnt have swivel hub drain plugs but i run a 98 disco front corner with 110 vented disc and caliper on my late 94 110 300tdi, the centre is out of a td5, it all matchs up and keeps the costs down.
