I purchased a Series IIa cheaply for it's Fairey overdrive and a few other bits.

The Transfer box output shaft has a lot of play and this has caused problems with the Fairey overdrive.
Initially I drained a fair bit of oil from it which was positive.
Then I found this

Not a good start.
I found that Rocky Mountain list the parts I need but I'd better check the rest of the overdrive before I go too much further.

That's a pity.... :o
Do you have a parts drawing? - dismantling and remantling is quite straightforward.
PM me if you want a copy of the drawing.
They seem to come up for sale from time to time either in a vehicle or as a unit so picking up another which doesn't have that damage could be an option.

Thanks, I've downloaded the parts manual and installation manual.
Once I get round to investigating the rest of the overdrive I'll know whether it was a poor purchase or not.
