Do any of you carry a kayak (or small boat for that matter) on your camper-trailer ?
(my roof rack will be chockas)
Just thinking through the alternatives of adding a swing-off side mount as opposed to unloading each time the trailer tent is set up.
If you do carry a kayak, I would appreciate it if you could post a photo of your setup ("a picture being worth a thousand words"). Thanks :)

Depending on the way your trailer is built and the way it is set up, something like this bloke's idea might work.
Trayon Owners Forum (http://trayon.com/forum/thread-244-post-1175.html#pid1175)
He has a link to some drawings in the first post.
I just carry mine on a wooden rack on top of the Trayon. It helps that the one in the photo weighs 10.8kg and my new one is 8kg. :D

Obviously I have to take it off to set up the camper.

I designed it and built it.
Since it takes about 200 hours to build a strip built kayak like that, I certainly couldn't afford to pay someone to build it for me. :)
It doesn't help sort out your issue of how to transport your kayak, but here is a photo of my newest kayak. That is the eleventh one I have built.

I dont have a kayak but am looking for a 3/4 seat canadian style canoe and will most like make a side tilting rack for the CT, also thinking about adding a small basket at one end or one side to carry firewood when you come across some good stuff on the side of a track.

My Trak Shak comes with a boat loader suitable for a 70kg tinnie, but it's perfect for two double seater kayaks.

Takes a 3.75 tinny or 3.9 'yak. Has a rear roller.
