Just wondering what others have done re the washer bottle on their D2s after fitting a bull bar, I looks very prone to rock/stones being thrown up with it's nakedness.
Cut and refit the plastic inner guard, tin?

My XROX came with a tray to protect the washer bottle. Pretty simple to knock up I would think.

Can see it here -

You never should have removed the inner plastic...

Just cut level at bottom and refit. The hole in the edge of the wing on the bar is for a bolt to hold the plastic in place...

Installed an XROX bar, and then went with this:

D44 Discovery 2 Slimline Washer Bottle 1998 - 2002 (http://www.devon4x4.com/index.php?page=shop.product_details&flypage=flypage.tpl&product_id=526&category_id=44&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=14)

Thanks to CJT.

with the bar I made I turned the skid plate into a wash bottle by turning it into a tank plenty of room between it and winch drilled holes to fit the washer pumps and ran a hose to the original filler neck
