This is only happening on AULRO, not on other fora.
When I close the AULRO window, the next time I go to AULRO.com, I have to log in again despite having ticked the remember me button.
This is on my iPad - I haven't been on my computer for days so I haven't yet checked there. I'll go now and switch it on to check.
Note that this is a separate issue to the iPad regularly and annoyingly forgetting all passwords and logins at the same time.

Check your settings for saving cookies.

Nothing has been changed, this started in the last couple of days.

Recently did an upgrade of virus protection software (Avast), and did a scan.
Next time I opened AULRO I had to log on.
Don't (want to) know anything about Apple, but might be worth checking cookies and similar.

sounds like a corrupt cookie to me..
use the logout menu option on the navbar, it will clear any server cookies associated with your account.. here and there.
but i doubt that is the issue, it will be something third party on your system or it would be doing it to everybody....

Are you using Safari on your iPad Ron? If so, try installing Chrome instead. I had problems like you are experiencing, with Safari, but largely gone away with Chrome.

It must be an iPad problem. My Windows PC isn't doing it.
I've tried clearing all the cookies but it made no difference. I'll reboot the iPad. I've noticed in the past that sometimes one just has to do that to clear problems.
I use Chrome. I don't like Safari but one is forced to use it at times because links in emails only ever open Safari. One problem I experience with Chrome on the iPad is that it crashes regularly.

The crashing is my biggest gripe with Chrome. That, and where you move from one tab to another, it refreshes the tab you move to.

I think that's an iPad issue. It's a pain when one is writing a reply to a post and one needs to go away from that tab to check something or to grab a link, when one comes back to the post, everything one has typed has been deleted.

That's the one. I think it's related to the size of the cache held. When it starts to do that, I go into settings, clear cache, clear history, power off, power on and then it stops for a while.

A power off reboot seems to have fixed the problem. While my PC gets powered off after every use, the iPad rarely gets powered off.
