Hey everyone,
I have been looking at installing a cruise control kit in my car for a while now. But they are so expensive.
Take this one for example Land Rover Defender TD5 Cruise Control KIT 2002 2007 Terrafirma TFCCK | eBay (http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Land-Rover-Defender-TD5-Cruise-Control-Kit-2002-2007-Terrafirma-TFCCK-/190864202558?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item2c70649b3e&_uhb=1)
$380 for what appears to be some wire, terminals and two switches... am i missing something?
Are there any how tos on how to make and connect of of these myself?
Thanks

You'll need the pins for the ECU plug before you can do it

It's all been covered on here before (a few times) - use the search function / box at the bottom of the page. All the info and diagrams are available on this site.
Will cost you about $10 for two switches and some wire.
Cheers,
Ian.

You legend mate.
Could you explain a bit more about making the loom please?
Is it just 5 wires Grey (11, SET), Brown (17, RES), Black (15), Blue (10) and Green (12v power). I get that grey brown and blue are connected to the two switches, and green is 12V ignition power, but where does black (15) go; and what does green connect to?
I assume you sell the loom as a kit, what is the price for it and do you have a website i can look at the other services you offer?
Thanks
