Needing a c-spanner, hook-wrench, or coil-over wrench (whatever they're called) ASAP. One of these guys:

Any ideas where I could source one? I can't seem to find any leads apart from Ebay, but i'll be flying back north to work on monday - hoping to find one today if possible.

Motorbike shop? I have one for adjusting my rear coil springs.

They might be a bit small for your application.

AIS (Australian Industrial Supplies) show them in their catalogue. See http://www.aisnational.com.au/sites/aisnational.com.au/files/AIS_Directory_428.pdf

Dunno where in WA you are, but the AIS site has a store finder. There is a AIS supplier, All Tools, in Bayswater.

Trade Tools, BSC, prob. Repco or most motoring tool shops.
Iirc my cheapie one is Toledo, so anyone selling Toledo (motor tool shops, bearing/Bly suppliers, etc.) will likely have one on the shelf.

It looks like you don't have Trade Tools in WA. But you do have Blackwoods:

Edit: if you can't get one from any of our suggestions, it's quite easy to make one if you have access to a suitable bit of steel, a heat source capable of getting the steel to orange heat, a heavy-ish hammer & something to use as an anvil - any bit of moderately heavy steel that won't bend as you're hammering will do. A large flange, a sledge hammer head, an axle shaft for a few eg's. Let me know if you want some instructions.

Any decent engineering supplier would stock a range of c-spanners and pin spanners. Common tool in fitters work. Not so commonly stocked in shops catering to motor parts replacers.

Yep...I have and adjustable one at work, jaw is swinging in the centre. Britool brand from memory, no idea where it came from tho.
