Shame to hear that, Daniel is a genuinely nice guy.

I did have the same issue when I ordered something for the 130 before I left for our trip around Oz. "No problem I will have all the bits sorted in 2 weeks and send it away" but it ended up taking months... It was a little annoying at the time but it was all water under the bridge once my stuff actually arrived.

I dropped past his work shop while I was in Sydney and had some work done on the 130. I also had a look at his pop top campers, which are very nice BTW.
He even loaned us his red 110 pop top to drive around in for the day while our 130 was fixed up.

I guess his downfall at the moment is that he is just one man and he seems to have quite a bit of work on his hands converting 4x4's into pop tops.

Lets hope he gets the message and gets his act together. I hope to buy one of those pop tops off him one day.

I too had some problems contacting Daniel via email, but I changed from Gmail to Outlook and all good. Mail clients can do some weird things, my Gmail like to put rude letters from ATO and ASIC in the spam folder. So Daniel maybe you need to check your mail boxes for stray content.

However
05/05 ordered 14 items, a email from Daniel clarifying one item and answering a query.
09/05 all shipped.

Could not ask for better service and have more goodies on the list in due course.

I've ordered off him two separate occasions. Both times all goods delivered within a week inc an email to clarify one of the orders.

Hi,
Daniel has just fitted gullwing windows to my son's new puma and it only took a few hours and a great job--but the order did take quite a while but that was the fault /normal process of the person who makes them and I was told that at the start when I ordered. My experience with him has been great--really. He also fitted an underseat box fuel tank from Dolium in my 130 but we had issues in that it would not fill so he managed to remake some parts ( and at his expense) to at least let it be filled reasonably --but this again was a design issue with the tank--not his work and since then Dolium have just deleted that tank due to issues. If he does miss emails best to ring him I suppose.

My father-inlaw and I have both bought quite a bit of gear off Daniel and it has always been impeccable service. Have also spoken to him on the phone a number of times and, as busy as I'm sure he is, he has always taken the time to offer advice on products and fitment. Sort of blew me away the first time, far better service than I have ever received from any ARB or TJM dealer face to face.

So expedition centre still gets a thumbs up from me, can't be helped if the first step in the supply chain causes the drama.

As I said I can handle delivery delays as these things happen but would rather be lied to than be ignored .How hard is it to send a PM or email?

Have you considered that perhaps your emails did not get through?

Why don't you just call him?

Yeah maybe there was a problem with the emails or something?

Just remembered in my case daniel did go to england for about a month while I was waiting for my order. I can only imagine he had a million and one things to orgonise before he left and then catch up on when he got back. At the end of the day i got my stuff in time and i am very happy with the product. Happy days.
