Hi All,

Thought i'd post some car porn, Getting Cars ready for a big trip!
i'd love to install some heated seats. Are there any aftermarket add ons?

any suggestions would be great!
i've been working on plenty of mods on the 110, if anyone wants ideas, i'm glad to lend a hand.

i've got to say, the Rhino Rack fit like a glove!

Looking good turbo, where are you heading off to?
Do you have a full list of the mods you've done to the car? I'm sure there are a few of us that would be interested to know.

HI all,

the Grey 110 is mine and the 90 is Gazcoonars. After owning discovery after discovery, it was time to step up the game.
They are both new, 2014 purchased.

All mods on both cars are performed by myself other then the tint.

i'll list the mods on the 110 for now,

HD king springs which have given a 2" lift (no drone),
koni shocks each corner with
bilstein steering stabiliser.
Terrafirma HID
ARB Bul Bar with Modded white LED Driving lights
ITBasement custom wing protector and side runner checkerplate.
Second battery in boot with ArkPak system
Rhino Rack roof rack
custom diesel jerry can holders
custom real work lamp
right side LED strip for ambient camping light,
reverse camera
terrafirma rear corner protectors
tradesman cargo barrier
dynamat sound proofing
uniden UHF with icom antenna
Mulgo seat extenders.
internal lights changed to LED's
alpine speaker upgrade and sub

off the top of my head, thats pretty accurate, however, its fun working on it, and everytime i have an idea, i work on it.

All of the above was installed by me in my driveway with minimal tools. so if anyone has been thinking of attempting any of the tasks and wants to ask Q's i'd love to help out.

the photos dont show most of the mods, if anyone want to see a photo of any of them, let me know.

we are going to Wonnangatta for 5 nights this friday onwards. i'm working enough photos for the "show me your deefers section"

Looks great.
A word of caution though with the rack legs. I think they are too close to the roof and will be leaving a substantial imprint after a few ks off road.

Yes, absolutely correct. There is a real knack in installing Rhino legs - you have to strain them out towards you (away from roof) as you tighten the bolts - you need 3 hands!! Have attached some pics of my roof before I modded the racks and after. With the weight you will have up there I think you need 4 cross bars too - get someone to watch the gutters and climb up there - they will flex. Also, I started with my rack as close to the roof as yours and ended up buying cross bars to get extra strength and extra clearance above the roof - helps if you have to clean the roof sometime!! (even Deefers need a clean sometimes). After adding the cross bars, using 4 legs instead of 2 and re-doing the install I never had any issue with rubbing and that was on some serious tracks with a load. Sorry, cant find the pics of the damaged roof - but it wore right through the paint and part way through the metal before I noticed it, and it only took a few thousand Km. Just remembered - i actually ended up modifying the legs with a grinder - took off about 3mm following the edge of the leg plus all of the above

Hey Turbo, 110 looks great, but I'd keep a close eye on that rack clearance - the legs look very close to the roof curve and racks can get a fair bit of movement in corrugations!

Edit: lol, my browser hadn't updated!

Thanks for the feedback. The legs are touching the roof at certain points... will have to readjust. ...
