Hi all,

Whats the best option regarding glazing kits for door tops presently
I've got a pair of unglazed ones ready to be fitted up but I'm wondering If I should just get a couple of the glazing kits off ebay/online shops

Or if there is a better option than the kits that just rust out again. I've seen a couple of places mention plastic replacements that can be fitted instead and just glued in etc

Cheers

I bought the trim kit, which holds the glass in place, from Paddock; the glass I re-used from a collection of door tops. Windscreen sealant to hold the fixed pane, was purchased from the local paint shop.

It is a good idea to label the old pieces of aluminium retainer as you remove them, so that you can make sense of the new bits.

Paddock can also supply windscreens and the curved quarter-lights on the ute-cabs, as well as all of the rubbers,

Cheers Charlie

I'm going to invest in a pair of these when finances allow :)

One day I'll get a set of them but I haven't been able to drive the car for fear of the existing door tops blowing away in the wind due to the rust in them

once I have these one in it'll be a slow process of patching the firewall runs and slowly working my way through.

Not sure why I want to fix this series but I will.
