TD5 HEAD RESTS .

Could anyone please tell me , can I take the head rests out of my td5 extreme wagon . I can only get them up to the top of there extension that seams to be It , I have some sheep skin covers I want to fit and they won't go over the hear rests ,cheers Jim..

If they are the same as the 300tdi ones. Get in the back, wrap your arms around them and pull up like hell, bit of twisting and or side to side too. Try not to punch yourself in the face when it comes free:wasntme:

Going by memory you need to twist the plastic thing at the base of the post.It is the post guide.

Takes two people as you have to twist? each one while someone else pulls the headrest up and off.

A bit fiddly but you will get it.

Thanks fellers , I was thinking they would come out , but thought I would ask first , didn't want to force them in case I snapped something . cheers Jim..

From memory they have a spring clip that pops out once inserted so they can't come out.
