The four heat exchangers are all sandwiched closely together with the AC condenser at the front, the ATF cooler and intercooler in the middle, and the radiator at the back. On a couple of trips we have done a bit of off track work through the spinifex and I have managed to clog these elements with spinifex seeds, resulting in overheating.
Because they are squeezed tightly together it is very difficult to remove the accumulated vegetable matter. Even back home using the Karcher and compressed air wouldn't clear it out. I have had to remove the radiator and intercooler.
I wondered if it might be possible to relocate the AC condenser to the roof- lying flat between the roof rack and the roof.
Has anyone done this? Any thoughts?
