Good morning All,

I will be contacting my friendly dealer for my D4's 26,000 km service in the next week. I had an oil change and check done at about 13,000 km.

My question is should I be asking for any particular software updates or other work to be checked outside of the standard service? I will be advising about a pause in the acceleration that occurs from time to time but otherwise everything seems OK.

Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Thanks
Bob

As a rule, the dealer will check your vehicle, and apply any applicable updates that have been issued by LR.

They will ask if there are any issues, and you mention you are getting a pause on acceleration. See this thread, and see if the symptoms mentioned in it correlate to what you have.

LR only issue software updates if there is a known, proven issue, and they have found a fix. So, be sure to mention anything that you feel is "not quite right" and give them a chance to have a look.

Wot Basil135 said!

Just make sure you let them know if anything is not as you think it should be, other than that there isn't much to do. That said I have had great service from my Land Rover agent.
