So yesterday, my wife says the disco 3 had trouble starting. I was gonna change it today but true enough, this morning, it's dead.
No option but to call RACQ who came promptly and got us going, but informed us the battery was registering 9v but charging ok. I know it's time to replace 'coz last time I had it service that guy did mention that the battery is on it's last leg.
As I had to leave for work and no time to find a good one, we asked RACQ to replace for us even though the replacement they have only has CCA of 680.
I think the OEM one had about 720 written on, which lasted 7yrs. Anyone else had problems using a battery with lower rating CCA? We have an overhead DVD player and charge phones but not much else.
