Stickman Stoves... any good?

I've been looking with interest at these apparently natty "Stickman" stoves as an alternative to having to set up a big campfire when out bush.

Has anyone had any experience with them, and would you recommend them?
One potential issue to my mind is that the stove has a little battery powered fan ... how reliable is the fan when the thing is subject to heat, cooking spills, clanking around in the back of the Landy etc?

I don't know anything about the Stickman Stoves but a guy at work has the BioLite Stove.

It is the same idea and he has it rolling around in the back of his car and then taken out bush hiking a lot. It seems to work well. Minimal fuel is required and his son is able to recharge his phone while out on the track. Great for Geocachers who are using them as the gps to find their hides.

Cute, but is it practical?

I think I will stick with my shellite choofa.
Lots of heat from a little fuel, and 1L is good for a week or so in the mountains.

If one can chase around finding dry sticks to burn, it has to be a fairly benign environment.
