I lived in Qld for nearly 18 years and never did forego my allegiance to my place of berth. For reasons best known to myself (and the same affliction is enjoyed by others) I don't like the weather up there. Who wants to be warm "all of the time".

I always told the blokes I worked with that I would move back to Australia when I retired ;). I will be retiring soon, but managed to move back a few years ago.
