I need to replace the door seals on my 85 110.
Later Defender ones seem to be the go, but up to what year model would be a good replacement?
The doors have the lift up type handles.
Thanks Pat.

Just recently bought new rubber from Para Rubber here in NZ to replace the door seals on a 84 110. $21 a metre or something silly but the door rattles are silenced and the rain water flow is almost stopped so in the end it was worth it. Didn't realize you could buy Land Rover Rubber... I just bought a few metres and bashed it on with a plastic mallet.

I believe that the early vs later deefer door seals are of differing lengths.

Sorry, didn't keep the receipt so no part number for you nor can I find it on their website. However, a quick search of "pararubber door seals" online and I found someone else has found this same seal profile too. I post the picture of his picture here. Note, this is a picture of someone else holding up the same thing I bought. It has the same dimensions as the rubber I took off. I had to cut it at the right angles to then join it up in the corners with polyurethane sealer. I got it as a continuous straight length and had to cut it to suit. As a side note, I also found they sold another rubber profile that I have used for the firewall trim under the bonnet of the 110. A bit shorter but same profile and serves the purpose well enough.

I just remembered. I used the same profile as in the photo above on my old HCPU tail gate to 'seal' it. Stops the rattles well.
