Read in todays paper that one of the Airlines in England is going to do away with recliner seats on their aircraft after a survey of passengers !!sounds like a good plan to me . Apparently 85% of on board disputes among passengers is over recliner seats .

Yeah, you are stuck in like sardines and when some body in front of you decides to recline their seat it does make it uncomfortable. Qantas Link planes seem to have more space between the seats.

Look forward to that

I fly a lot and never use the recliner myself but have had a few issues with people reclining their seat at speed while you are eating off the try. So can see what they mean

Some of the Jetstar aircraft have already gone that way - as I found out on a flight from Darwin to Sydney.

Good idea for any flights under 3 hours. I hate those who recline on short flights. I am over 6" and it makes it very uncomfortable for me if others recline.

I think it will be a real shame. Reclined is so much more comfortable than sitting bolt upright.
