Karen & I went to see the Glenn Miller Orchestra at Hamer Hall last night. Can't describe how good it was. The saying today is "Cool", well let me tell you, this band was,... VERY COOL.
All the originals, American Patrol, In The Mood, Moonlight Seranade,etc etc.
We started the evening off with a lovely meal at Chloe's Restaurant, Young & Jacksons, beautiful steak & a bottle of red, so it really was, as the saying goes, "A Night TO Remember"!

There was a movie made in the late 50's or early 60's called the "Glen Miller Story" starring James Stewart and June Allison, Glen Miller disappeared while being flown over the English Channel in 1944.
