Getting used to the new brand. Drives really well. Sometimes I find the gear shifts harsh at slower speeds (taking off from a crawl and turning a corner). I've added mud flaps, dark tinting, rubber mats throughout and Rola Roof Racks. Steve at Lifestyle 4WD in Morley is a legend.

Anyone found a nudge bar to suit the 2014? Also a Rock Slider supplier in Perth?

Hi Simple,

Can't help you with the nudge bar but Green Oval Experience are a local WA supplier of sliders and other off-road D4 goodies. You'll find their website with an internet search. Forum member too. Cheers,

Matt

Make sure you read up on how to use her in sand....then you won't embarrass yourself.

Hahah ............... you can still embarrass yourself in sand even after you're familiar with how to drive it in sand. ;)

I very nearly proved that point at Coffin Bay on the way back from Tassie. Had been on sand plenty of times and never had a problem ............. until forgetting that after you shut the engine down and re-start, you have to push the little button on the dash again.

But nobody was looking - and after a sluggish start, I woke up ................... :D

As you will see in plenty of other posts let your tyres down to 18 or less, even with 19 inch wheels and standard tyres, and remember to turn off DSC every time you change any setting or stop and start the engine.

I also use low range unless touring on hard sand as some of the car's settings need low range to put them in proper off road mode.
