I am old fashioned.
I dont much like all this electrical tom foolery, ecu's and fuel injection stuffs.
So can a P38a 4.6 v8 be converted to run without that rubbish ?
Is there manifolds available to fit modern Holley type carbs ?
Probably need to source from the USA.
What sort of distributor or ignition would you install ?

Be a good project for Me Disco I think.

Just curious, I think, perhaps, sort of.

I know they put webers on rover V8's , but that's all I know.

Go to the Edelbrock website, section under Buick/Rover V8.
Everything you need.
If you were doing it to the Disco it would be easier, coz the Ignition on a P38 is ECU controlled.
There is a Holley with Manifold on ebay at the moment.
But I've got my eye on it, so don't look!:p
