Drivers side door won't unlock-sometimes!

Hi guys,
Got a weird random thing going on with my drivers side door.
D3 V8 HSE
It's happened a few times now. Press the remote and drivers door doesn't unlock. Other doors do though. Try and open from the inside won't open, however the unlock button on the dash opens it. I've also been locked in a couple of times. Stop the car, remove the key and door won't open. Press the unlock on the dash and it opens!
This is totally random and I can't repeat it either.

Anyone got any advice?

A general comment, issue may be the solenoid/actuator - I've experienced all sorts of weirdness on other vehicles over the years when solenoids are on the way out. Not saying this is the issue (my D3 has been good in this respect so I have no experience with this issue), but, possibly something to look into/research.

Definitely door lock assembly failing, I would change it soon if I were you before it fails in the locked position.
