What are the symptoms?
Is it a Landrover part? Or some other brand fitted by the dealer?
What type of radio is fitted?
Have all 3 radios had the same fault? If so, it isn't likely to be 3 unserviceable radios.
So what is the problem that you have exactly?
You haven't given anyone much to work with!
Cheers

Am I reading this correctly?
You have a 2008 Discovery with a cassette tape player?

An alpine aftermarket unit with cd, bluetooth, ipod and aux input, radio etc etc can be bought from about 100 bucks upwards. Spend a bit more and you can get a unit with dvd and nav.....
Probably not the answer you are looking for though.
And a 2008 disco with cassette player? I thought that got canned after about 2003?

Sammy,
If you are up to your third Stereo (head unit) then getting another Stereo (i would think) isn't going to fix the problem.....it sounds like you may have some serious wiring issues somewhere...............
You say you checked all the fuses, wiring and Stereo??
Stereos or Head Units, are usually the most reliable part of a car.

Sammy - if the main car battery is low the radio will not work or can be on reduced power - it is a protection system to ensure enough power is available for the car's crucial systems.
My battery is 7 years old the car only does short trips and I often get the low power message or the radio does not work but it comes back after a moderate distance drive and the battery gets more power back.
Three failures of the radio (did they work when removed from the car and bench tested) does not seem to be a radio problem to me but a car problem.
If you go an aftermarket system you may loose some functionality in controlling the message center as the radio is integrated in the CANBUS system.
Get your battery checked.

thanks for the replies . we think its a radio stereo problem . not a battery problem . we might buy another stock land-rover system :)
