Just saw the news showing footage of an extensively damaged Defender down in Hobart from an accident today. Mentioned a P-plater was driving at the time.

Hope it wasn't someone (or their child) from the forum?

Actually been a bad day on the roads down here. A death of an infant this morning at Trial Harbour involving a 4WD, and reports just coming in of a fatality up on the Bass Highway in the north west as well.

Reportedly the driver was alone, quite drunk, had been done for same previous, just back on road. Was a nice vehicle.

I often ran past it as it was parked in South Hobart and I was on my mini marathon to keep fit.
Guess I won't be waving to it any more as I go past.
Sad, Peter.
