The war photographer.
I watched the documentary last night on the ABC.
Awsome stuff from slaughter and conflicts around the world.
The Bloke admits to having day as well as nightmares, I can understand why.
His work involving the kids caught up in our madness is something else.

I downloaded it from youtube this morning and I am going to keep a permanent copy.

PS: This beautiful planet does not deserve us.

Think also of our troops patrolling in Afgahnistan when a bomb went off in a market place, women blown to bits (kids as well) but our troops could not help as it is against Muslim Law for a male to be touching a female!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! especially an infidel.

I watched the doco and must say wondered how the man kept his sanity. I am involved with some local refugees from Africa who were brought up here by Aust. Immigration on advice from UNHCR. What they witnessed and had happen to them personally is the stuff of nightmares. They are an inspiration and their gratitude to Australia humbles me. The sense of first world entitlement which pervades our society at the moment is balanced by their practical approach to life... there can be a real sense of serenity about people who have suffered grievously but retain a sense of hope and optimism...
