I need to get a car transported from Mandurah, WA to Glen Waverley in VIC.
It would need to be door to door. It is driveable so can be driven on to the truck. Does any one have some suggestions or contacts that I could use?
Any help would be great.

Thanks

Chris

There are a few folk on here who have used Ceva transport.
They only do running vehicles but you've ticked that box.

Its a 3000KM trip there I think. We thought about doing a road trip. But it would have to be over a few days. By the time we got flights there and then drove it back, it would be cheaper to get it trucked over. Plus I think a 5L Rover V8 would use a bit to much fuel :D:D
The car is registered (Rover SD1) and very well set up. I'll check out the door to door company and see how that goes.

I just tried there online quote and it came to $776. Which I think is pretty good. I also tried Autologistics who came in at $696. But I would like to use someone with a good reputation and I don't know to much when it comes down to transport companies.

We arranged our shipping from Cairns to Melb through these guys: Car Transport Companies | Car Transporters | Compare Quotes (http://www.compare-quotes.com.au/car-transport.aspx)

Turned out to be door2door that did the job, but we got a better rate through CompareQuotes than direct with D2D.

Seems a reasonable quote for a 3,500km trip. Airfares for two, taxi fares both ends, 4-5 nights accommodation plus food and fuel... you'd be lucky to get any change out of $2K+ ...and you need to be sure it's in good nick for a loooong trip first up... Make sure you get a full photographic record, if possible, before it is handed over to the transport company...
