Yes, the Gresley A4's were the speedsters of steam. Mallard reached 124MPH. A fantastic spectacle. You can see from the black smoke issued at intervals when the fireman shoveled a load of coal into the firebox. The A3 Was it's predecessor, aka; "Flying Scotsman". Magnificent machines.

Thanks for sharing, very impressive. Isn't it funny when you look at a telephoto view of train lines, they bend all over the place and you wonder how a train stays on them.:)
