I have the MY10 Sport, so the equivalent of the Disco 4 in terms of tow electrics. I have looked at a number of convertors for trailers with LED
lights to ensure that

a). The Electric Brake Circuit will work
b). The vehicle will recognise that there is a trailer
c). Rear Parking is disabled
d). Trailer Stability is enabled.

As i am hiring a camper trailer (with LED) i do not want the hassle of undertaking major overhaul of my existing tow electrics.. any opinions or recommendations in regard to convertors such as 4x4equip etc provide to overcome the issue

Thanks

Use in my D4 & highly recommend David at Linear Electronic Design | Home (http://www.linearelectronicdesign.com)

Does everything you require & can be mounted in the rear of the vehicle (as mine is ) with a switch to operate when towing an LED trailer.

Cheers

while that is the one I have too, what I don't understand is why are they so much better than just a load resistance (whether Narva or an old style lamp etc) in line?

Sniegy - how do you install them inside the vehicle, and add a switch?
