Just did a quick search and found this Defender 4X4 Station Wagon 90 & 110 Wheelbases. 5 or 7 Seats. | Land Rover Australia (http://www.landrover.com/au/en/lr/defender/explore/station-wagon/)

Click on Performance and weights and it brings up 1972/2038 Kg F/R

I don't think its front & rear however as the maximum front GVM is 1200kg, I would suggest thats the total kerb weight. I am thinking that is the 5/7 seats.

I am just trying to find out what they come out of the factory with on the front axle for some calculations the engineer is trying to work out.

cant be. GVWM has been 3050kg for 110 for years. Max front axle weight for a 110 is 1200kg....

I dont think the book, and I know the plate in the engine bay, wont tell you the front axle weight. It will tell you total kerb, GVWM and max front and rear axle weights.

Thanks, no problems with the GVM that is definitely 1200kg however I am trying to work out what they weigh out of the showroom with no accessories fitted so I can work out the total weight of the accessories that have been fitted.
