Hi
Having been in a hire car for 2 weeks (a Subaru liberty) I remember how much I like sitting lower in a car again.
My MY10 has the manual seat adjustments and I have lowered it as far as I can but (with all 6'5" if me) I'd like to drop the seat another couple of inches.
Has anyone ideas on how this can be done?

Don't know the answer to your issue, but I totally understand it - I go from a Lib to a micro car to a D3 (sometimes in the same day). Generally find the D3 has the most ergonomic position but love the low down sporty position (providing my back is in a good mood) of the Sube. But there is nothing quite like the billy cart driving position (and style) of the tiny car !

I find it goes low enough for me although I'm only 5'11", but when i get in my work yaris i wish that bloody seat would go lower feels to high.
I do imagine to get it to go lower you might have to redesign the mounting brackets on the floor or something bit of work there, unless your handy at metal work and or welding, just unscrew the seat and pull it out and have a look shouldn't be much work although just be careful about the airbags if the seat has them and disconnect the battery before you unplug the air bag cord save it going off or having to get the dash light reset.

I would check the legalities of any mod before getting in too deep . I seem to recall there are issues with the ADR's when modifying seat mounts. This is undoubtedly complicated by the positioning of the multiple airbags.
