Various vehicles have "speed limited" signs on the back of the vehicles. Trucks have Speed Limited 100, other vehicles like mobile cranes have similar signs but lower speeds.
Does anyone know where you can buy these??
I am after the signs that have the red circle with the speed inside and underneath text which says "Speed Limited".
Thanks

You could give these guys a call:
Vehicle & Truck Signs - Advanced Road Signs & Safety (http://www.advancedroadsigns.com.au/Vehicle-Signs-s/10.htm)
Another thought, send R2D2 a PM. He should be able to tell you where to go if not get some for you.

So, Garry, which vehicle do you have that has a speed limiter installed?

I would say the 101 :)
But most sign makers would do one or more to suit Tac sign holders or similar,I would think about one for my 2a

Now, here's a question, is it illegal to have one of these signs on the back of your vehicle if you don't have a speed limiter fitted?
I wonder what would happen if whilst displaying one of those signs on, let's say the back of a 101, and you were observed by police doing 105km/h in a 110km/h speed zone?

The price looks to be 58 plus delivery. There is the cheap option.
Get two pieces of perspex, print the sign on A3 or A4 laminate and put it between the two perspex plates and mount it on your truck.
I got this idea in my old department as the hot slabs and sparks would destroy all our signs. This way it was 5 bucks for a perspex cover and 10 seconds to print and laminate a new sign, then 5 to 10 Min to mount it. This saved several k a year.

Speed limited signs are now obsolete. They were fitted to speed limited trucks allowing them to travel at up to 100 kph. Unlimited trucks were allowed a maximum speed of 90 kph. Any unlimited truck caught displaying the sign was defected with the appropriate fine added.

Shush - it is a secret but I am not looking for a Speed Limited 100 sign - slower ;). I saw a good one on the back of a mobile crane that was perfect.
Looked all through the links provided and none listed off the shelf but I will make some calls tomorrow to see other (non 100) signs are available.
