I thought I would start he thread for Golf Day, We Had a great sunny day, I turned up at 9.15, GuyG was strapping up his clubs as we arrived, Josh, DJ and Harry were there ready to tee off with their wives, Louis had his 3 ring ins, It was a good start.
We teed of just before 9.30 sorting ourselves into groups of 4 well sort of . . . . My wife was a tag along for the walk, Harry's gorup were first off then Louis followed, we never saw them again, David, Jenny, Guy and myself followed then made it to the 3rd hole before Josh Miseao, and Zac cought up with us, we got to the 6th hole as a group of 6 players where Paul joined us then thing got a little interesting, seems we were holding up other groups and the manager on duty was not really happy with that so we split again at the 7th hole and made it back to the club by 12.30 where the others were waiting for us all rested from a cold drink.
Harry started the BBQ, sausages and rissoles cooked and went down well. It was a good day. Congrats to the winner, ahhhh who won in the end ??? im sure someone will know.

a loverly day,
I had a car named loverly once.....

we teed off first and our secret weapon tom saved us again.
I managed to putt into the first hole straight up, but that was where my skill [read 'luck'] ended,
winner on the day was Louis's team with a 30, we bagged a 40 and I have no idea where the others got to.
the bbq went well and we enjoyed the beer and snags,
thanks phil for running the cooking

Was a good day indeed - brilliant weather, a great course, nice people around, and I only donated 2 balls to the magnetic water holes......
This "ambrose" system is a winner and saved the day for my team.
At one hole where we crossed paths I saw Josh and Guy tee off - was mighty impressed by both their shots :o
As usual a lack of concussion, broken bones, smashed windscreens is a sign of a successful day out.....
Bring on next year!!

Think Louis must have spotted 1 of my 3 top shots for the day by the sounds of it :Rolling:

Cheers for a great day as usual... good to get a few partners out on the field; buggies were fun, especially sideways [bigrolf] I Managed to get a few shots away though lost count of how many balls i actually lost either in the bush or by not having the patience to go searching. Needless to say we weren't scoring :D

Thanks for getting the food sorted Harry and for cooking Phil. Was a well earned feed if i do say so myself [thumbsupbig]
