Hey guys,
I am working on a design of a slide on camper to fit my standard offroad trailer.
What I am hoping to achieve is to be able to have a trailer I can use for general use and then come the weekend , slide the camper on and hit the tracks.

I have been playing around with google sketch and have come up with a basic idea.
The drawings below are just of the camper, there will be a roof top tent mounted on it as well.

Any tips or feed back would be appreciated.

Hello,

Have you pursued your suggestion? I would be interested in hearing your views. Did you build it? I have something similar in mind.

Thanks!

I have built a similar thing, check out my thread on here. I used light gauge RHS frame and 0.9mm ali sheeting. my trailer weighs 400kg and with the camper it's quiet heavy... I'm thinking of making something different much lighter...
