Hi

Im looking at buying a house down the coast and was wondering if there was any where I should look and more importantly anywhere I should avoid

Somewhere close to transport to Griffith Uni or an easy drive

Any feedback would be most appreciated

I'm at Biggera waters. Close to runaway bay & paradise point, canals & broadwater if you like that sort of thing. Round the corner from harbour town, quick 5 min drive to Griffith uni and most importantly GCLRO HQ.

Get yourself close to brisbane rd, Olsen ave, marine pde etc then you'll be an easy bus ride to the uni. Head further southport, Scarborough st. etc then still a 5min drive on the opposite side and can jump on the new tram to the uni.

Budget and style/size of property will persuade you to different areas... Though even most of the undesirable areas still have some nice/trendy/secluded areas... As some of the nice areas can still have undesirable elements :D

Hi Gary

im in Sorrento/Bundall. 3-4 min drive to either Surfers or Broadbeach. How far north or south did you want to be?

Regards
Michael.

Im in Ashmore/Molendinar area, just off smith st motorway, its pretty good area but the newer homes are not on very big blocks, the older homes in the area incl parkwood have approx 600 to 900m so blocks but some have not been renovated, but that leaves a bigger yard so can build a big shed for all the toys.
