"Landbivalence"
- n
The simultaneous existence of ones conflicting attitudes and emotions toward their Land rover.
"James was struck dumb with landbivalence after tallying up the lasts years costs of repairs, upgrades & medical bills associated with his Defender."
Those with a severe case of Landbivalence can tend toward the mental disorder of "Roverchism".
-n
Abnormal condition in which pleasure is derived from having to keep fixing their Land Rover, even when "just slightly worn". In clinical cases, sufferers can lose every free moment to this disorder.
"He said he was just going to check the oil in the Defender but now their is a gearbox on my patio and he looks like he works at an oil refinery."
Symptoms
Unexplained bruises, cuts, gashes or headaches.
Financial distress
Relationship breakdown
Vehicle breakdown
Unexplained replication of Land Rover equipment & components until you can find a green oval in every room of the house and otherwise.
Being able to cite the correct torque for "that" bolt on "this" model and how it differs by VIN number and year.
I figure if we get this supported by the medical profession then we might be able to claim our consumables on medicare. :wasntme:
